Welcome to Wine, Books & Fringe!

Feel inspired to find your moments:

Stumbling through life, we often run out of time for the things we enjoy or the space to think, uninterrupted.  This is my place to enjoy and share, uninterrupted by the have to’s. I hope you feel inspired, intrigued, and motivated to steal a little time for yourself to enjoy a good book, a glass of your favorite wine and maybe even a new outlook that you find here. Life is too short not to get lost in a book, share  a smooth spicy Cabernet with girlfriends, laugh with your children, share your embarrassing moments, catch a movie with your significant other or just feel rewarded about what you do every day.

Some days, I may want to share inspiring photos, silly MEN oddities I’ve discovered after years of marriage, or simple pin it from Pinterest. Gosh, that site is addicting!

Oh, don’t forget to share what inspires you!

I am a 26 year old girl, born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. I graduated from the Technical University of Denmark as an engineer in January 2013, after which I went to a creative school for 5 months, playing around with acting, singing, movie production, etc. Now I am looking for a job, hopefully as a production assistant or the like in a theatre or a movie production company. In the mean time I read books, write reviews, and take pole fitness lessons, singing lessons and self-defence lessons. Pole and singing is rather new, but the self-defence I’ve done for about 7 years.

My favourite books are of the New Adult and Fantasy variety, but I like reading lots of different stuff like biographies, drama, erotica, and fan-fiction. My favourite New Adult book is Easy by Tammara Webber closely followed by Hopeless by Colleen Hoover and Losing It by Cora Carmack. In the fantasy variety I love most of Tamora Pierce’s books, The Narnia series by C.S. Lewis and of cause Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.

If you would like to read Danish books I can recommend Lene Kaaberboel (especially the Silverhorse series) in the fantasy genre and most of Jacob Ejersbo’s books for drama. We don’t really have a well-developed New Adult/Young Adult genre, unfortunately.

So, I hope you enjoy reading my reviews as well as everything else on the website, and feel free to write comments, ask questions and whatever else you feel like doing.
